We are finally having spring weather! the sun is out and it is time to shed our winter layers of heavy coats, thick scarfs and boots. I was anxious to get out of those cold winter shoes and into some practical, stylish, comfortable flats. We all need a few pairs of shoes to ease the pain off our feet when we are running around town. I looked around my closet today and realized that I was in desperate need of flats. It seems like centuries ago since I went into a store and purchased flats of any kind. I felt quite clueless as to what I should buy, you know; colors , style etc. So I consulted my great friend ; The Internet. I always take it upon myself to create a small shopping guide whenever I plan to go out and purchase wardrobe essentials. A cheat sheet you might call it. I find that it keeps me focus on what I go out to buy,and to help me not spend on things I do not need at the moment. It makes my shopping day a little more productive. This cheat sheet is inspired by the Pantone Spring 2013 colors and hot spring styles; pointy flats, espadrilles and loafers from Piperlime. I am going on my own egg hunt for these colorful, cute and fun styles. Hope you all enjoy your Easter!

White On White
White on White on White on White, one of my favorite spring trends. There is something about a woman wearing all white that exudes sophistication and mad style. This trend is sexy, chic and its perfect for in between seasons and will work all summer long. This look is best accessories with gold jewelry. If you do not want to restrict yourself to only white , a pop of color in a shoe and bag works greats to add some color to your look. Say no more!. Here are a few sets showcasing this trend incorporating shorts, full skirts and dresses with some sexy sandals.

For The Love Of Bags
This post comes to you after much
thought on my pathetic bag collection. Well now I can hardly call my numerous
thrift find a bag collection. So I figured I must do something about that. I
have been dreaming hopelessly of Celine, Botkier, Prada and Phillip Lim that I
lost track of what is actually in my closet honestly. I tell you I have spent
countless hours drooling and fantasizing about Celine. Sometimes when I wake up
in the next morning and go to my closet you can imagine
the disappointment when the charming handbag I dreamed of is not in
my possession. Meanwhile I plan on
obtaining pieces that are in my "college student" budget according to
my father and pick up handbags that are fun, youthful yet classy. Ideally I
would love to have a superb glitzy array of designer goodies until then I will
search for contemporary pieces that showcase my style. I also thought I
would invest in a range of colors because what better way to experiment with
color everyday than with a great handbag. I challenged myself to look for great
and inexpensive pieces all under $100 that are a mix of fun, youthful, classy with
luxe appeal. I figured I could start there and that will help to shape the
direction of my personal collection and who knows maybe sooner rather than
later I will be able to include a lustful piece or two. I also plan on
enhancing my ring collection. I have stumble upon gem gossip; a blog of all
things sparkly. With links to sites like Etsy; the magical land of one of a
kind antique and handmade jewelry and in no time I will have a satisfactory ring collection.
I am shooting for 100 or so pieces by the summer. A girl can never have too
many rings.
